Return & Exchange Policy

We truly value our customers and want you to feel confident when shopping with us.
That said, we also want to make sure our return process is clear, fair, and easy to follow for everyone.


1. Returns Due to Our Mistake (Wrong, Damaged, or Faulty Product)

If you ever receive the wrong item, a damaged product, or something that doesn’t match the description, we’ll fix it right away.
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

  • We may ask for a short description or a clear photo of the issue to process your request quickly.
  • Once verified, we’ll cover the return shipping or send a replacement at no extra cost.
  • Items must be returned in the original packaging.

2. Returns Due to Change of Mind or Personal Reason

We understand that sometimes plans change — but since every order is processed carefully and stocked items are reserved just for you, we can only accept returns for personal reasons under certain conditions:

  • You may request a return within 7 days of delivery.
  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in original condition.
  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll issue a refund minus the original shipping cost.

3. Exchanges

Exchanges are handled just like returns — as long as the item is in unused condition and within the 7-day return window, we’re happy to exchange it for another product (subject to stock availability).

  • Buyer covers shipping costs both ways for exchanges that are not due to our error.
  • For exchanges caused by a mistake on our end (wrong or defective item), we’ll take care of everything.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Some products cannot be returned for hygiene, digital, or other reasons. These include:

  • Digital downloads or e-books
  • Gift cards or vouchers
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Items marked “Non-Returnable” on the product page

5. How to Request a Return

To start a return or exchange, please contact us at Support@bookwharf.com with your order number, name, and reason for return.
Our team will reply with instructions within 24–48 hours.

6. Refund Process

Refunds are issued only after the returned item is received and inspected.
Once approved, we’ll process your refund to your original payment method within 3–7 business days.
(Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to complete the transaction.)
