Four new guests arrive at the mysterious café in Tokyo, each carrying a heartache they cannot leave behind. Among them is a father who could not allow his daughter to get married, a woman who never gave Valentine's Day chocolates to her loved one, a boy who simply wants to show his smile to his divorced parents, and a wife holding a child with no name. Each visitor must follow the café's strict rules and return to the present before their coffee goes cold. Through their journeys, the book beautifully explores how a single act of kindness, given or received, can quietly change everything.
